Fifty returned men, including sixteen members of the Otago Pipe Band, who returned to the Dominion on the Mamari, arrived m Lyttelton by the ferry steamer Mararoa this morning. The Improvements Committee of the Lyttelton Harbour Board met at the ’Harbour Board’s office at Lyttelton yesterday morning. At the conclusion of the meeting a tour of inspection was made of the various buildings and works along the water front. A tour was also made around the reclamation work. After partaking of luncheon on the tug Lyttelton the members boarded the dredge Canterbury and proceeded out into the stream, where they examined the machinery and fittings on the dredge, and watched the dredge operating whilst loading silt to discharge on the reclamation ground. ,
