ADDINGTON MAN-HUNT.
ACCUSED BEFORE COURT. A. FURTHER REMAND. „A« a sequel to an exciting incident at the Addington racecourse on Friday of last week Joseph Terence Maher, aged twenty-two, for whom Mr Alpers appeared, was before Mr T. A. B. .Bailey, S-M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. He was charged with stealing £2O from the totalisator at Addington on August 15, the property, of H. M’Dbugall, and with the theft of £3 in notes, the property of William Watt. Chief Detective M’Hveney. asked that the accused should be further remanded until Friday next. Mr Alpers applied for bail for the accused. < The Magistrate granted, the application for, a remand, accused being granted bail,. self in £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
