CROWD ADMIRE NEW UNIFORM

Londoners saw the new uniforms of the women police for the first time in Au»y.

With heads erect and doing their best to ignore the interested glances of passers-by, four women, resplendent in blue and silver, marched with firm regulation step from Scotland Yard to attend the police memorial service m the Abbey.
