In the District Court Elizabeth M'Cormick, of Auckland, claimed £SCO compensation from the Joan Craig Steamship Company for the death of her husband, a seaman whom she alleged died from injuries received aboard, the shir Joan Craig in the execution of bis duty. A verdict for the defendant company was returned.
