Clay (Mcthven), 1 heifer at £2B, 1 steer at- £lB. PAT SHEEP. There was a large yarding of fat sheep, the whole of the twelve races in the section being filled, and there was an overflow. There was a large proportion of very primo quality, including a number of special lots, some of which were priae-iokcra at last season’s shows. STORE. SHEEP. The entry of etor® sheep was slightly larger than last week’s, but the quality was about the same. For the most part the offerings consisted of ewes, many of them sheep that were shinped south in the autumn. The weather had a depressing effect on the sale, which was a trifle duller, although some good values were obtained. The range of nrioes was: Two-tooth ewes 23s Cd and 31s Gd-. Two and "four-tooth, ewes, 29s Cd to 33s Cd. Four, six and eight-tooth ewes, 33s 3d. Six and eight-tooth ewes. 23s Sound-mouth ewes, to 31s 3d. Sound and full-mouth ewes, 18s Id to 3Ss. Two pens of low conditioned yearlings and dry cows formed the store cattle yarding. HEALERS. There was a- fair yarding of veal calves, most of which were well-grown sorts.
