PROPAGANDISTS IN TURKESTAN

(Received August 6, 12.35 p.m.) ALLAHABAD, August 5. News from Russian Turkestan states that Mohammedans iu Bokhara are very badly treated by tho Bolsheviks. Life and property are unsafe and trade is at a standstill. The Amir of Bokhara is doing his utmost to protect his subjects and oppose the Bolsheviks. Fighting has occurred at Kerki. Bolshevik propagandists are active everywhere, persuading Mohammedans that Bolshevism is in sympathy with Islam.
