UNWOOD TRAGEDY.

A PARMER'S DEATH. Tho man who waa found shot through the head in Linwood Park yesterday was identified subsequently as Charles Leslie Inwood, a farmer of Upper Waitolri. An inquest was held by Mr T. A B Bailey, S.M., last night.' Henry A. Inwood, brother of the deceased, gave evidence to the effect that deceased had come to "Chmtchurch recently to consult a doctor as He had not been well. Dx Browne had informed witness that deceased was suffering rather_badly from neurasthenia. At about 7.30 a.m. yesterday deceased went Offß, saying that he was going to post some letters. He had had a rather restless night the night before. He did not return. Deceased was fifty-two years of age, married, and had two children. Evidence as to the finding of the bodv fr,as given by Patrick Gunu and Sergeant Cbpefand. Dr X. S. Whitton. house surgeon at the Christchurch Hospital, gave evidence that death was due to the gunshot wound.
