The Kauri arrived. in tho stream from Newcastle last evening at 6.55 p.m., and anchored in the stream to await pratique. If she ia a clean ship she was expected to be berthed this morning. She brings a full cargo of Newcastle coal. The Navua sailed from Auckland yesterday for Papeete. The Shaw, Savill and Albion CompAny’a steamer Waimana is due at Wellington tomorrow from Bluff, to finish taking in cargo for Homo ports. She is timed to leave the northern port on August 6 for London, via Panama. f

The To Anau, which hit Lyttelton on Monday afternoon for .Wellington, will proceed from, that port to Picton to load for Onehimga. The Port Nicholson, is expected to reach Auckland on Monday from jew York. The Auckland-ownedilfour-inaeted barquenline Lyman D. Foster, : iwhich.has been nowi over four months on the voyage from Tonga to Ban Francisco,' has not yet been reported as having reached her destination.

The transport Somerset left Colon on Saturday last, and should reach, Lyttelton on August'l9.

The echooner Lily, laden with timber, left Kadpara on Monday for Lyttelton. The Kittawa’s cargo of coal and' timber was discharged yesterday, and tie vessel sailed in' the afternoon for Westport, where she Avill load for Dunedin.

The Orepuki left Greymouth yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, and should arrive here to-morrow. After discharging her cargo of timber, she will load general cargo for Greymouth, for.- which . port she is tuned to sail on Monday.
