SPANIARDS AND TRIBESMEN.

A TERRIBLE CONFLICT. By Telegraph—Prea# Association—Copyright " The Times ” Service. (Received July 28, 8 a/gi.) LONDON, July 20According to Tangier telegrams, incoming troops say that the losses in the fight between Spanish troops and Raisuii’s tribesmen wore under-esti-mated. Raisuli’s tribesmen, took no prisoners, but killed many hundreds, of whom a large proportion were brutally massacred. The corpses wore left unburied amid tho rocks and brushwood, and attracted packs ’of wild dogs. Arrangements for tho care of the wounded were pitiably inadequate. Many were lying at the outposts for a week without attention. A severe and decisive fight is impending. Both sides hate been reinforced. If the Spanish troops are properly equipped and skilfully handled victory will be assured, because tho tribesmen are not provided with artillery.
