MUNICIPAL GOAL.
STILL UNDISCHARGED. The s.s. Kaitangata, on which the first ; shipment of municipal coal has arrived at Lyttelton, is discharging timber to-day. Air S. K. Sleigh,■ Cliristfhurch f manager of the Union Steam i&hip; Company, does not expect that work will be commenced on the coal before to-morrow.
• The Deputy Alayor (Councillor J. IV". y peanland) stated to-day that he expected the coal to arrive at Addington in Friday. A depot would bo opened at the City Council yard on the South pelt, and the people would have to pay money there, and get a card for ||Spclivcry.
