MINERS AND PROPRIETORS. [Per Press Association,] AUCKLAND, June IS r flio manager of the Pukcmiro Coal Company has advised the miners that, at the request of Sir James Allen, who interceded on the subject of coal supplies to the public, the company has consented to allow the workmen’s inspectors to examine the old workings in dispute. The union secretary replied that the matter would be dealt with by the union on Thursday.
