[Per Press Association.] «• t WELLINGTON, June 3. bur James Allen, replying to the Iwo men, agrees to a round the table conference for the discussion of mat- ■ ters in dispute, and suggests Monday the men’s request that the Hon A. M. Myers should preside, Sir James states that Mr Herries as Minister of Railways, would preside in the ordinary course, as it was his Department. In any case it would put another Minister in an invidious position to accept the chairmanship of a conference to review the administration of a fellow Minister.
