The crews of the "Union Company’s steamers Wakatipu and Karitane havegiven twenty-four hours’ notice. It is anticipated that when the Manuka and Moeraki arrive the crows will act similarly. SYDNEY. June 3. A mass meeting of sfeamen passed a resolution against taking a ballot. MELBOURNE, Juno 3. If the strike of seamen lasts another fortnight the coal shortage will be ro acute that all exemptions granted would bo curtailed.
