' . « A PROPOSED CONFERENCE. (Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 3. The New Zealand Locomotive Engineers’, Firemen’s and Cleaners’ Association proposes to send to-day a letter to the Acting Prime- Minister in which they accept the Government’s offer of a round the table conference to discuss matters in dispute between them and 'he Minister of Railways, hut ask that the Hon A. Myers be chairman of tho conference, in view of his experience of railway administration.
