GERMAN SOUTH-WEST AFRICA.
THE SOUTH AFRICAN MANDATE. I CAPE TOWN, May 26. Replying to a question in the Assembly, the Acting-Premier stated that the Government was bringing in legislation to give effect to the principles of the •-mandate for German South-West Africa, but not this session. It was not intended to throw open the territory betoro Peace, but meanwhile it was being surveyed with a view to settle merit.-
