CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. A. meeting of the Canterbury Football AsFocintion was held on Tuesday, Air Bunt presidios. The seerolajy was instructed to notify tho Excelsior Club that its protest had heeu dismissed ty the , head Centre, and also to inform the Auckland Association that June 'A3 had been appointed for the Brown Shield match with, Canterbury. It was decided that tin, mat ter of nominating referees for Brown Shield rc.rtch'is should be loft in the hands of tho Referees’ Committee. It mis agreed that two representatives from each afliliated dub. tho Schools Association and tho Referees’ Association should meet next Monday to decide the manner in which the associationehtmld ho represented at tho Peace demonstrations. With regard to the proposed match with Wellington on June 3, arrangements were left in the hands of tho secretary and Mr Norman. It was decided that footballs should bo supplied to schools competing in the schools’ competition free of charge. The secretary was instructed to write to the Sumner Borough Council in connection with improving St Leonard’s Park.
