I tail way casual workers employed at the Christchurch goods sheds complain that- want of consideration lias been shown to them by the authorities with regard to the holiday yesterday. ‘ They state that on Saturday they were told to be in attendance at tlie sheds on Monday morning, as there would be work for them. Yesterday morning the men, eighty or ninety in number, were present at the usual time, but although there was work to be done tbev were not allowed to make a start, because of Ihe day being a holiday.
