GERMAN ATTACKS REPULSED. Australian snd N.A. Cable Association; (Received August 27, 9 a.ffi.> LONDON, August 24. A French communique reports reciprocal artillery activity iu the region of Lassigny, between the Ailettc and the Aisnc. Wo made fresh progress east of Bagneux, and repulsed counter-at-tacks west of Crecy-au-Mont. We took 400 prisoners, i Nothing is doing elsewhere. Bad weather has hampered our aviators in bombing in daytime, but the weather is , improving. At night bombers dropped nineteen and a half tons in .the rear of the battlefield on stations and bivouacs, and numerous hits were registered, and fires observed at Loan, Guiscard and Guigtricourt.
