Owing to frequent changes in tho city meter-reading department, consequent on men being called up for military service, arrangements are being made to road tho meters in the; residential portiou of the city once every two months instead of monthly as at present. This will save the necessity of replacing a man who goes into camp shortly, and will also reduce the ledger-keepers’ work considerably. • -
