WAIROA HARBOUR.
■ -$■ ■ NEW PROPOSAL [Per Press Association.] WAIROA. August 26. Following a visit hy Sir Furkert, Government inspector, tho Harbour Board unanimously decided that a Bill should ho immediately promoted to construct a harbour at Waikokopu and a railway for tho combined districts. This means the abandonment of work at Wairoa harbour that has cost nearly £IOO,OOO. A public meeting will bo held to discuss the position.
