THE LETTER CARRIERS.
TO THB KDITOE. Sir,—Will you kindly allow me a small space to pay a tribute to our let-ter-carriers? I have always found them hind and obliging. Lately it has been iny misfortune to have to change my residence several times within a few months, and knowing it was not permanent I asked tho letter-carriers on that beat to take care of my letters, as it was not worth while to change the address or to notify my correspondents. They not only made promises to do this, but fulfilled' them. This happened several times, and I feel assured that not one letter—and I receive many—went astray. How on earth they remembered me. with so much on thenhands, is a puzzle, hut they did.—l am, etc., A GRATEFUL WOMAN.
