AMERICA’S FINE OUTPUT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 10, 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 9. It is officially announced that tho July launchings ■ from American yards were G7 steel ships, of 435,2-14 deatrwcjght tons; 53 wooden ships, of 187.000 dead-weight: three composite ships of 11,000 dead-weight. During the same period 41 vessels, of 235,052 dead-weight) tons were completed, of which thirty-six were of 217,052 deadweight tons, and live wooden vessels, of 18.000 dead-weight. The launchings exceed the yearly pre-war output.
