POULTRY. Messrs J'. B. Merrett and Go. report a good entry of poultry to-day, Tle.-re was a brisk demand, and prices wero good. Table chickens realised 5s lid to 9s .Id, hens 3s to 6s '2d, pullets 4s to ]:)? 9cl, ducks 5s to 7? Bd, gocso 7s to od, turkeys Os to 275, nil pet pair. LOGS. There is a good demand for eggs. Canterbury Kgg Circle first giades are 2s 4d, seconds 2s 2d per dor.on. 12
