[Per Press Association'.] ( B ELM.\GION, February 18. , -'A the So pro me Court to-day, when tlicense of Charles John Ward v. the “ John Ruli” Newspaper Proprietary, a claim for £250 for alleged libel, was called on, counsel said it was admitted that iho statement made by the paper wars not justified. A certain sum had been paid by the “ John Bull ” proprietary to the War Relief Association, and bo therefore asked the case to be withdrawn. This was agreed to ’! be ground for action was a statement that the plaintiff, a contractor for the manufacture of military boots, was using premises owned by a German.
