Ueforence to Education hoard officials this morning elicited the ansfler that if the Department asked them to undertake the distribution of the bonus they would have in do it. they feel very strongly on the matter however, and maintain that they areas much in th 0 employ of tho Education Boards as the teachers themselves, and think something ought to he done to enable them to get the bonus. The Departmental officials will get the bonus, hut not the hoard officials. The Education Board h.ns written twice to the Department on the matter, but each time tho rof|iiesh made has boon refused.
