His Excellency the Governor-General will unveil the roll of honour at the Richmond School on Monday afternoon. Surgeon-General Henderson is visiting Christchurch. Sir James Allen, Minister of Dofence, will arrive in Christchurch from Dunedin this evening, and will leave for "Wellington. Brigadier-General Sir A. W- Robin, Commandant of the New Zealand Forces, arrived in Christchurch to-dav, and went south by the express. The Hon G. AV. Russell, .Minister of Internal Affairs, spent about an hour and a half inspecting the Christchurch Hospital yesterday. He was accompanied by Air H. Th Sorensen, chairman of the House Committee. Mr Russell will leave for AVellington this evening.
•Airs E. AVatson, 53, Hill’s Road, St Albans, has received advice that her son, Rifleman Jack AA’atson, who was wounded and taken prisoner during February, lias now been transferred to Berne, Switzerland, probably prior to being exchanged.
