FOOD FOE THE PACK RUSSIA’S PLIGHT.

Some time ago the German manufacturers of toys formed an “ Association for the Maintenance of the Common Interests oQ the Toy Industry.” They have now combined in a “ Gorman Toy Union,” which embraces the whole of the toy industry and trade, and is now preparing for after-war competition. The Germans arc not going to let Britain capture the toy trade without a struggle, and they will try to push their toys into all countries. New Zealand among the rest, as soon as the war is ended. The “ Gorman Toy Unon ” has a combined capital: of many millions, and its productive capacity will be enormous.

Many of them are gone now.”

Large Swedish districts are or arc going to ho completely electrified, a fact of the utmost importance in. times when manual Labour gets more and more expensive.
