AQUATICS.
UNION ROWING CLUB. During the past week the Union Rowing Cluh lias been rowing off the heats amongst tha remaining crows entered for the Trial I air-nnred Race. Tlio racing was not of a "ery high standard, the contests generally being \ei\ hollow. The results of the races were us follows;
L. Zimmerman and B. Palmer beat C. Moulin and A. Moulin. Won comfortably. C. Logan and L. Donnelly beat G. ’ Fiidcs and B. Beauchamp. A good race for half tlio journey.
D. Hanna and L. Kirk beat S. Hemingsen and A. Forman. This was a well contested race; won on tlio post. Semi-final—Zimcmnn beat Logan. This wan n good race to Stanmoro Bridge, after which the result was never in doubt. Final—Hanna, beat Zimmerman. The winners showed tbn best form, and gradually drew away, winning by a length. The next raco_ to bo held will be the Louiseon Four, entries for which close on ■Wednesday. The chib also has crews entered for tlio inter-club races which take place on Saturday, tlio events being Youths’ Fours and Mwfen Mito ftnilte}
