AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY'S THEATEE. The excellent vaudeville and revue programme presented by the Fuller management at His Majesty's Theatre attracted inothot large audience last evening. The Staigs repeated their sensational motor cycling turn, " The Globe of Death." 2nd were accorded much applause. Lawrence Johnston was very successful in his ventriloquial act, Violet TrevenyOn, the veil-known English comedienne, contributed a budget of popular songs, of which several had to be repeated by popular request. The "Walter Johnson Revue Company produced their successful musical comedy, "The Gramophone Girl," the various musical numbers, attra-ctive ballets, and dancine of Lydia Carne and Ernest Laabbrook being much appreciated. The same bill'will be submitted nightly during, this week. ' COLOSSEUM RINK. The Colosseum Rink was well patronised yesterday, especially in the evening", and skaters spent an. enjoyable time. Ths Eink will be open for the usual sessions to-day. Arrangements are well in hand for the fancy dress, poster and evening dress masquerade carnival, which, will be held on August 29 and SO.
