MOTOR AMBULANCE.
WILT; BE IN USE SOON. The St John Ambulance Association's new motor ambulance has been almost] completed. It was out on the streets to-day, and will be ready for use at") the end of this'week. It is large and conspicuous,' and gives an impression that both speed and comfort have been studied m design and construction. The body is of kauri and ash, and is moMnted on a six-cylin-der Hudson chassis. The interior, which is coloured white, is lighted by electricity. There is room inside for two stretchers, and the framework of the stretchers "has been so constructed that it can be laid at one side of the ambulance, in order to supply room for a cot-bed, if it is desirable to place one inside. Subscriptions for another motor ambulance are being received by tho association. ——————
