I met a fool, A simple fool; lie said to me, Now, don't you *©e, We'd be as well 'neath German rul«, I touched hi» head And then I said, " Go, get it read—you silly fool."
Now ho is not By a long shot The only chap With senseless yap, "Who makes himself an arrant fool, And daily prates Amongst his mates, " We'd bo as well 'neath German raw
Such fools as they Deserve straightway To he interned Till they have learned To think ""with reason, calm and cool. Where would wo be If Britain free, Was crushed beneath the German rule.
Each silly trawk, Insane their talk. If I'd may way I'd start to-day And rout this addle-headed school. Then i>end them forth 'Wav to the north. And haA Uwua live 'neath German rule. —H. B/Hoatlej,
