Captain H. N. Talbot has resigned liis commission in the New Zealand Denial Cor:> 3. Mr George Witty, M.P.. who arrived from Wellington on Saturday, will leave for the north by to-night's ferry steamer. The Rev J. Hutton M'Kenzie, Chapplain to the. Forces, lias removed from the Canterbury district to the Wellington district. The Mayor will leave for Wellington on Thursday evening to attend a meeting of the 'National War Funds Couucil.
