AEROPLANE RAID.
TWENTY MACHINES ENGAGED. BOMBS DROPPED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association and Reuter. (Rj?ceiived August 13, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, August 12. The Press Bureau states that a squadron of twenty enemy aeroplanes this aftornoon skirted th© coast towards Clacton, where they divided,' part turning towards Margate. The rquiainder crossod the coast- and dropped bombs in the neighbourhood of Southend and also Margate. Reports of damage and casualties have not been received. Our aircraft pursued the enemy seawards.
