COLOSSEUM RIXK. The morning .session at tho Colosseum ft ink to-day was devoted chiefly to school children, special provision for instruction having been arranged by tho management. Tho usual sessions wore held } e.su.'relay. On August 29 and 30 a fancy dress and poster carnival will bo held. PATRIOTIC CONCERT. Under + .he auspices of tho Christchurch. Poultry Association, a patriotic concert wiil he 1 eld in the Opera House on Saturday next, August ib. Tlie programmo is under "he direction of Mr R. Malcolm, and will comprise songs, duets ...nd musical items by ieading singers, li;-n ree.s. con.iunng, ventriloquism, monologues, concertina solos and humorous recitations. Tho proceeds will 1~0 divided between the Lady Liverpool, tho \ M.C.A. War Funds and tho N'aw League.
