"National Hate," a subject suggested by a recent article in the " Hibbertl Journal," will be dealt, with by Mr W. W. Collins, at the Caledonian Hall, Worcester Street, to-morrow evening, commencing at 7.15. The Rov Val. Trigge, Methodist connexional evangelist, will commence a ten days' mission in the Durham Street South Methodist Church to-morrow. Recently Mr Trigge conducted a very successful mission in the Oambridgo Terrace Methodist Church, and tha coming mission is intended l to be a continuation. During the earlier parti of the mission Mr Trigge will deliver addresses dealing with the higher Christian life. The results of the final night's play in tho Ohristchurch United Friendly Societies' Card Association's tournament was as follows.—Star of Linwood (14) beat City of Christchurch (10), 24-15; Mistletoe (9) beat Queen's Own (6£), 26-15; Washington (oj) beat Pioneer (7£), 21-18; Ivy of Linwood (3) beat Star of St Albany (7s), 20-17; Anchor (9) had a bye.
