A letter was read irom the Department relative to the St Albans School Blection, and the necessity of conducting elections strictly in accordance with the Act. The letter was received. The report of Mr Opie and Mr Banks on the fire at the Burwood School was adopted. . The Ashburton Borough Council wrote definitely refusing to allow any portion of tho domain for a school site. It was decided to N £0 on with the work of erecting the scr-c-1 on the present infants' .school site.
