GERMAN-AMERICAN OPINION. ENORMOUS VALUE OF THE REPUBLIC'S HELP. TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS SOLVED. (Received August 10, noon.) NEW YORK, August 9. The " Staats Zeitung." a local German organ, says that the Germans are now realising that if the war continues into 191S America will be an immense factor. .The problems of transporting troops to Em rone and feeding them have been solved. The Germans, says the paper, are no longer using; a tone of superiority towards America's war efforts. Thereis no reason why the Allies should be dissatisfied with America's slow but sure preparations.
