One sailor was killed and the rest wero rescued. NAVAL LOvSSES. MERCHANT CRUISER AND SUBMARINE. LONDON, July 26. The Admiralty announces that the armed merchant-cruiser Otway was torpedoed and eunk in northern waters. Ten persons were killed, but tho remainder were saved. A Berlin official message states that the British submarine C 34 was sunk by a German submarine. One stoker survived and was made prisoner. (C 34 was built between 1908 and 1910. Sre was 130 feet long, and her surface displacement was 290 tons.)
