Addressing the Health Congress, tlie Minister of JteaHh stated that a. Bill had b°en drafted whirh provided that quacks should uo longer treat venereal diseases.
The delegates emphasised that th<? Government should demand proof of freedom from venereal disease from all candidates for marriage. A motion was adopted urging Mr Hughes t.o prohibit the sale of alcohol during the currency of the war and demobilisation.
