'•'Tho Times" calls attention to the unprotected condition of Aden, on the main sea route to India and Australasia, which is practically beleaguered by tho Turks on the land side. For nearly two years the British forces has beien confined to the stronghold, while a weak enemy force is ranging among the tribes in the Protectorate. Tho operations in Aden do not shed lustre on British arms and prestigo.
