Answering a question by Mr Anderson, who stated that producers were extremely anxious to know if there would be storage accommodation for their products next eon son if the shipping difficulty continued, the Minister of Agriculture stated to-day that tho matter had been before the Efficiency Board, the Board of Trade and tho Requisitions Committee, and certain recommendations had been made. An arrangement bad been effected with tho Wellington Harbour Board to store 45,000 to of>.ooo crates of cheese, and in consultation with the Prime Minister he had called a conference of Dominion freezing companies, who had power and machinery to increase cool storage, to meet in Wellington on Thursday to go into the whole question.
