WELLINGTON GASWORKERS FINED. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 23. The ease of tho gasworks stoker* came before -Mr M'Carthy, S.M., again to-day. It was stated that there had boon no material change in the situation since last week. Tho company had offered to tako some of tho men back, but. tlioy refused to.go. Tho Benoh fined each defendant £o and osts for a seditious strike. He said the case was not ono for imprison* ment, so ho fixed no alternative.
