THEATMK ROYAL. The pantomimie season of the J. C. Williamson Company continues to bo very popular Avith the public. On Saturday ''The House that Jack Built" was presented at, a matineo performance, and also in the evening, and on both ■occasions the seating accommodation of the. Theatre Pi oval was overtaxed. The pantomime will be repeated to-night, and the Christehurch season will close to-morrow evening. "BATTLE OF THE ANCRE." The .series of films depicting the "Battle of the Anero," shown under the Y.M.C.A. management, drew largo attendances to the. King's Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening. The extended Christehurch season will be brought to a conclusion to-mor-row night. COLOSSEUM SKATING RINK. The Colosseum Rink was extremely popular at all sessions on Saturday, especially in the evening, when a very large number of patrons spent an enjoyable timo gliding over the woilpolished floor of the largest, skating area in the .Dominion. The rink is open daily, from 10 a.m. to noon, 2.30 to o p.m. : 0.30 to 7 p.m. (for learners), and 7..50 to 10 p.m. On Wednesday evening a pc-lo match on skates will be held.
