FAILING TO ENROL.
[Per Preps Association-.] DUNEDI.N, July 23. Thomas Henry Smith, aged twentyseven, for failing to enrol in the First Division, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. Tlio Magistrate said the accused had deliberately evaded his responsibilties. He had not imposed the full term of three months' imprisonment, because he thought it desirable that such a man should be taken into camn at an early period.
