FURTHER ATTACKS. GERMANS AGAIN HURLED BACK. ■rJ.!an and N.Z. Cable Association 6£d Router. PARIS, July 21. A French communique says Enemy attacks, or attempted attacks, wore followed by very violent bombardments in many points of the sectors Oerity, Hurtebisa and Craonne and tho road north of Brayo en Laonnais, but our accurate lire and tho vigilance of our troops caused the enemy s plans to fail. An enemy attack carried out in force south-east, of Oerny twice penetrated our advanced trenches on a front of 200 metres, but on each occasion wo vigorously counter-attacked, and completely drove them out. Wei broke up, with heavy losses, a powerful enemy concentration for an attack between Ilurtebiso and tho California Plateau. "We recaptured trench elements in the region of Moulin-sous-Touvcnt. The artillery duel was tairly lively north of tho Aisne. ENEMY REPORTS. stralian and N.Z. Cable Association and Router. LONDON, July 20. A wireless German official message says:— The French three times fruitlessly attacked south-west of St Quentin. Wo captured a part of French positions north-west of Craonne, but heavy nocturnal counter-attacks forced us to abandon some trenches.
