In the Reichstag Dr Michaelis, referring to tho Russian offensive, said that General Brusiloff's goal i s Lemberg, and tho oil wells near Draholivcz, in order to impair tho German submarine war. " Half an hour ago," he said, " I received the following message from Field-Marshal von Hiudenburg:—'Provoked by tho Russian offensive in Galicia, a strong attack was inaugurated there to-day by me under the personal leadership of Prince Leopold of Bavaria, resulting in tho Aus-. tro-G-ermans breaking through the Russian positions near Zlapzow. General Brusiloff's g?ins havo therefore been t equalised;'"
