Mr Hughes has announced that the unions' delegates to the shinhuildinng conference have agreed to urge unions to accept the Government's conditions 1 hat work shall be continued uninterruptedly with dilution of labour, broadly on the principle of equal pay tor equal work and piece-work. He emphasised thai, unless iho unions accept, these conditions, the Government will not start the industry.
