The. first matinee performance of the J. C. Williamson pantomime, " The House that jack Built,was given at tho Theatre Royal ypsterday, before an attendance that, completely occupied the seating accommodation of the building. There was a. large assemblage of children, who showed by their enthusiasm rnd frequent prolonged applause that they thoioughly enioyod the pantomime. The fairies, the child performers and their dolls, the Dame, the comedians and the dancing of Maggie. Dickinson appealed especially to the littlo folk. The attendance at- the night session was also exeeptiallv large, and judging by the applause, the efforts of the performers, especially the principals, were much appreciated. The pantomime will be repeated tonight, and on Saturday the second matinee performance will t-nkp place, commencing at 1 4o p ni.

FULLER'S VAUDEVILLE COMPANY.
