PORTUGUESE AFFAIRS.
MANY ARRESTS MADE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 10, 0.5 a.m.) LONDON, July 18. The "Morning Post's" Lisbon correspondent says that some hundreds of persons have, been arrested. Tho Premier defended the Government against a charge of repressing riots with uivluc severity.
