A big meeting held in the Opera House t7)-iiight was addressed by tho Rev Howard Klliott, and. a resolution was passed '' protesting against, tbe glaring injustice by the. preferential treatment of Marist Brothers in respect of military sorvie.v" A further resolution passed expressed approval of the present sy.stom of education, and congratulated the Minister of Education on his firm opposition to State aid to Roman Catholic schools.
